Mr Charlie Grover will speak on current trends and issues in LNG SPAs.

Mr Grover is a Counsel in Allen & Overy's Projects, Energy & Infrastructure group. His experience encompasses various energy and resources projects and transactions (on both the corporate and financing sides) with a focus on the oil and gas sector. He has advised major international energy companies, project developers, construction contractors, lenders, marketers, and government agencies and worked on projects and corporate transactions throughout Australia, Asia, and the MENA. His recent and current representations include advising:

• A bidder for ExxonMobil's upstream assets in Aceh, including its interest in the Arun LNG plant
• Brunei LNG on its LNG sale and purchase agreements with various international buyers
• Keppel Corporation in its acquisition of various regional upstream minority interests from KrisEnergy
• Asian Development Bank, Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd & The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd on various tranches of the financing of the Tangguh LNG project in Papua, Indonesia
• BP, Standard Chartered and ICON Capital Corp as subordinated debt lenders and participant in relation to the multi award winning US$2.4 billion Jurong Aromatics Petrochemical plant project in Singapore
