  • Dexter Wang, Asia Market Engagement Lead at S&P Global Platts, shared how the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the energy transition outlooks, and market factors are impacting the role of natural gas as a transition fuel.
  • Dr Peter Zeniewski, Lead Energy Analyst, World Energy Outlook, at the International Energy Agency (IEA), discussed the future outlook for natural gas in the IEA's climate scenario, and how hydrogen may see broad-based growth in a net-zero pathway.
  • In the first panel discussion, speakers from Pavilion Energy, IEA and the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE) shared their perspectives on how LNG and hydrogen can support energy transition, and the policies and frameworks required to facilitate this transformation in Asia.
  • In the second panel discussion, panellists from International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers, InvestChile, and Snam further discussed the opportunities and challenges of scaling up LNG and hydrogen in the Asian and global energy mix.
