Mr Ronald Davis has over 40 years of experience in distribution, transmission and substation engineering, planning, and operations in the area of utilities and renewable technologies. He also provides transmission and distribution planning study support and power economic assessment on hydroelectric, biomass, wind, solar, geothermal, and offshore technologies.
Mr Davis provides consulting services to electric utilities, renewable developers, state commissions, and others in the areas of transmission, operations, renewable energy (both demand side and supply side), and rate design. For the past 10 years, he has been working for utilities and state/federal agencies in the areas of distributed solar penetration studies, renewable portfolio evaluations, transmission impact analyses of high penetration of renewable technologies on the grid, resource assessments, feed-in-tariffs, electric rate impacts, and smart grid/smart meter integration.
