Keppel’s Infrastructure Division drives the Company’s strategy to invest in, own and operate competitive assets in Power and Renewables, Environmental, and Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS). Keppel has an established track record of developing, owning and operating powerplants. In Singapore, Keppel operates a 1300MW combine cycle gas turbine powerplant and is developing Singapore’s first and most advanced 600MW hydrogen ready power plant. Keppel also provides solutions that address key environmental issues through state-of-the-art waste-to-energy and water treatment plants. As Singapore’s first licensed electricity importer, Keppel has been successfully importing low carbon electricity via the Lao PDR-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project (LTMS-PIP). Keppel also received conditional approval from the Energy Market Authority of Singapore (EMA) for the long-term import and sales of 1 GW of low carbon electricity from Cambodia and has also received conditional approval from the EMA to import another 300 MW of solar power from Indonesia. With the LTMS-PIP and conditional approvals, Keppel will contribute to more than 30% of Singapore’s renewable energy import target of 4 gigawatts by 2035.

Keppel offers Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS), a subscription-based model that provides holistic energy management services whereby customers can deploy smart, low carbon energy solutions to support their sustainability strategy. With a growing presence in China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore, EaaS enables businesses and building owners to enjoy energy savings with minimal upfront capex.
