Mr Andrew Crowle has over 30 years of experience in Engineering Management and was involved in the opening of Vestas' new state-of-the-art technology centre near Newport on the Isle of Wight. The centre is designed to be able to design, develop, prototype and test the largest rotor blades on earth.
He is known as Andy and joined Vestas Wind Systems in May 2010, working initially in the UK as Global Programmes Director at the Vestas Technology R&D centre on the Isle of Wight, UK, before keenly accepting the opportunity to take up his current position here in Singapore. No stranger to international assignments, Mr Crowle's previous role before joining Vestas was as Key Account Manager for Boeing, based in Seattle, US. Prior to this, he has been employed in a number of roles within both the civil and military aerospace sector and was also an Engineer officer in the UK Royal Air Force, commanding a number of aircraft and gas turbine O&M (overhaul & maintenance) facilities.
