Ms Xie Hongwen, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute (CREEI), has long been engaged in technology management of new energy sector, worked as the leading researcher or researcher of design, review and consultancy for more than 100 wind farms and solar power projects in China, participated in preparation of dozens of national administrative rules and technical standards of new energy sector, compilation of the 12th and 13th Five-year Plans of wind power and solar power and the 14th Five-year Plan of Renewable Energy as well as many research projects organized by domestic and foreign institutions, and proposed policy advice on promoting new energy sector development.
Mr Xue Lianfang, Deputy Chief Engineer and Chief Technical Expert of China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute (CREEI), has been long engaged in environmental protection of hydropower and new energy, and mainly responsible for communicating and coordinating with relevant government departments on environmental protection business related to hydropower and new energy development and operation, provided technical support services for government departments’ management and decision-making. He has conducted environmental protection policy researches on hydropower and new energy, and been involved in the formulation and management of industry standard. He has also engaged in hydropower planning and management, regional environmental planning, hydropower project design, technical consulting and review of environmental protection for completion acceptance, adaptive environmental management services during the operation period of hydropower projects, as well as researches on river ecological restoration technologies. He has published more than 60 relevant papers, and been the leading researcher or researcher of more than 40 industry standard formulation.
