Wrap-up: A Rousing Start to Day 1!

For the first time in two years, SIEW returned with a fully in-person live event! Celebrating SIEW’s 15th Anniversary, the SIEW Energy Showcase was held onsite to spotlight Singapore’s Energy Story. 

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong also set the tone for the week with a Singapore Energy Lecture that focused on Singapore's climate ambitions.

Here's a recap of the key announcements and highlights for Day 1:

Day 2 tomorrow will kick off with partner events, Asia Clean Energy Summit, Asian Downstream Summit (ADS) & Asian Refining Technology Conference, Asia LNG & Hydrogen Gas Markets, and Future of the Grid.

In the afternoon, the Singapore-IRENA High-Level Forum will gather global energy leaders and industry captains to discuss and exchange views on strengthening green financial pathways towards a net zero future.
