45% of future global renewables and clean energy investments will be made in Asia and ASEAN. According to Wood Mackenzie’s 2020 forecast, Asia will attract $1.5 trillion worth of clean energy investments during the next 10 years. This accelerated investment in clean and renewable energy has intrinsic ties to the region’s GDP tripling by 2040.
