Mr Lee will be giving the Welcome Address during the Singapore Energy Summit Opening Session.
Mr Lee Tzu Yang is Chairman of Shell Companies in Singapore, and represents the Shell shareholders in business interests and projects in the region. He has worked in several countries and markets in the downstream oil business for Shell, and currently chairs the Workplace Safety and Health Council, the School of the Arts, and the Middle East Institute of the National University of Singapore. He serves on the Singapore Legal Service Commission and the advisory board of the Centre for Liveable Cities, and was the immediate past Chairman of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce. He previously co-chaired the Water Focus group for the Singapore Green Plan 2012 and currently serves in an advisory capacity to the MSc (Environmental Management) Programme of the National University of Singapore. In 2005, he was awarded the Bintang Bakti Masyarakat (the Public Service Star) by the President of the Republic of Singapore. He studied Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
