Top Three Reasons Why You Should Attend SIEW 2016
Here are reasons why you should not miss SIEW 2016!
In addition to a suite of world-leading conferences & exhibitions (more on that below), SIEW features associated events that provide even more energy insights during the week.
Dr Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), will deliver the global launch of the IEA Medium Term Renewable Energy Market Report 2016 – treating attendees to a glimpse of the next five years in market trends and developments for renewables.
For savvy investors, the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) will be launching “Financing Asia’s Electricity Sector 2035: Expediting the Investment”, a publication on energy investments in Asia. The case book covers not only the barriers and opportunities but more importantly – the actions and programs needed to move the markets forward.
The Singapore Energy Summit is SIEW’s anchor event. As the key focal point of the week, the Summit showcases in-depth discussion panels featuring top energy leaders across governments, industry and international organisations.
This year, the Summit features an international panel of speakers from across Asia, Europe and North America who will share their views on: (i) Asia’s New Energy Realities, (ii) Building a Low-Carbon Future and (iii) Disruptive Technologies and the Energy Consumer.
In addition, Dr Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), will be leading a lunch panel titled “A World Awash in Oil and Gas – What’s Next?”.
Attendees of the Summit can expect to gain a better understanding of the global energy dynamics, which will help shape energy dialogue and policy for the sector and for a sustainable future.
For one week, in one location, SIEW convenes the people who matter in the international energy industry.
This year we are pleased to partner with Asian Downstream Week, Asian Energy Financial and Investment Conference, Asia Clean Energy Summit, and Gas Asia Summit. Covering the downstream sectors, energy infrastructure financing, renewable energy and gas, each of these events are meticulously researched. This allows them to delve into issues most relevant to the industry and deliver rich insights to you.
SIEW also hosts Roundtables held in partnership with the world’s leading thinktanks and international organisations. Roundtables deep-dive into niche energy issues, allowing for more in-depth discussions on key topics across the spectrum including:
